Research Areas

  • Nature-based solutions to flood and drought hazards
  • Watershed resilience to climate and land use change
  • Large-scale hydrology and water quality modeling
  • Artificial intelligence using remotely sensed data
  • Hydroinformatics for Big Data integration
  • Cyber-physical systems for geoscience

Our Goal

We tend to apply an integrated hydrologic + informatic (=hydroinformatic) approach for large-scale watershed modeling, management, and resilience studies, aiming at a Next-generation Geoscience paradigm. To achieve this goal, we conduct both science-based and practice-oriented research in collaborations with stakeholders and some of the leading scientists in the field. Learn more
