Research Areas

  • Nature-based solutions to flood and drought hazards
  • Watershed's response to climate and land use changes
  • Large-scale hydrology and water quality modeling
  • Artificial Intelligence using remote sensing data
  • Hydroinformatics for data-model integration
  • Cyberinfrastructure

Our Goal

We tend to apply an integrated hydrologic + informatic (=hydroinformatic) approach for large-scale ecosystem modeling, management, and resilience studies, aiming at a Next-generation Geoscience paradigm. To achieve this goal, we conduct science-based and use-inspired research in collaborations with stakeholders and some of the leading scientists in the field. Learn more
