Our Goal

We tend to apply an integrated hydrologic + informatic (=hydroinformatic) approach for large-scale ecosystem modeling, management, and resilience studies, aiming at a Next-generation Geoscience paradigm. To achieve this goal, we conduct science-based and use-inspired research in collaborations with stakeholders and some of the leading scientists in the field. Learn more

Featured Publications

Our paper in Nature Scientific Data is the first to show where and how humans are altering the world's floodplains. In collaboration with US Environmental Protection Agency and The Nature Conservancy, we discovered previously unknown spatial patterns and temporal trends of human floodplain alterations. Read our article here
